I am beyond proud of each and every one of these boys! To some they may look like dirty street kids, but to me, they are incredible blessings full of so much potential! I love seeing each of their personalities unfold! Thankful for each and every one of "my kids"! #missionaryatheart
School Supplies
Because of AMAZING friends that donated funds, Mateo, and 3 other boys were able to get the school supplies and uniforms they needed today to attend school next week! Mateo is SO excited! He hasn't gotten to attend school since he was a little boy due to not having the proper funds or paperwork he needed. Just soak his smile in for a minute! #missionaryatheart
Huge Storms...
Huge storms are happening in the Dominican right now and my poor kids are getting soaked. And while it hurts my heart that our families in the villages are getting drenched because their roofs are covered in holes, my heart aches for my street kids. My street kids don't have homes. They live and sleep on the street. They have no protection in the storms. They can't escape the rain. My street kids don't get to watch Netflix under a warm blanket with their favorite snacks during a storm....they sit outside in the middle of the storm praying that God protects them. Im thankful they were able to come to the mission house for a few hours today to eat, bathe, get fresh clothes, and escape the rain for a bit. God, please keep my precious town in the Dominican safe during the storms...especially my street kids. #missionaryatheart
Missing My Kids
Today I'm mega missing my Alvacado loving boys! These boys have my heart and I wouldn't trade that for the world! And just saying, with some TLC, food, a bath, and new clothes...they don't even look like street kids! #missionaryatheart
All Hands On Deck for Crosses
These crosses are no joke and require all hands on deck! Putting our street kids to work today! I will have lots of tin crosses for sale soon in tons of fun colors to fundraise for my mission work! #missionaryatheart
