Bacterial Infection and No Medicine

This little girl is one of many we see everyday in the extremely poor villages we visit. She has a bacterial infection spreading all over her face and her family cannot afford to take her to the doctor much less get the necessary medicine. In this particular case the parents did not even realize how serious the infection was until we stopped to check on her. The lack of education and resources is a huge issue we face in the Dominican Republic. Help us assist and reach more kids just like this sweet baby by partnering with us! We truly cannot do it without you! #missionaryatheart

Our Street Kids

This is how our street kids sleep. Huddled in a group outside of a bar. Our kids stick together because there is power in numbers and they typically have to fight for their lives. This is the image we see each morning as we go around in our van picking up our kids that are apart of our feeding program. I honestly cannot imagine the lives these kids have and the traumatic experiences they have gone through and I have seen it for over 5 years. Please help us feed our kids! We truly cannot do it without our monthly sponsors! Are you interested in becoming a monthly sponsor? Explore our website for more info or email me: caroline@dominicankids.com. All donations go directly towards our kids and are tax deductible! We would be so blessed if you became apart of our Dominican family! #missionaryatheart

Trash for Dinner

Life in a third world county. This sweet and precious girl is scavenging though the garbage trying to find enough food to eat or some scraps she can sell in hopes of buying some food to fill her aching belly. This is unimaginable here in the States but it is a way of life for many of our kids in the Dominican Republic. School is starting back in the Dominican but many of our kids cannot attend school. Our kids families depend on them to find enough "good trash" to be able to help buy food for the day so school is out of the question. Try and imagine the smells, the bacteria, the dangers, and the filth. This is real life for our kids. Help us feed these children so they do not have to dig through the trash. We cannot do what we do without the help of our monthly sponsors! Visit The donate now page for more information! #missionaryatheart

Broken Toys

A broken toy that most would think of as trash. However this precious street boy finds joy in it and is so proud of his treasure. Sometimes my kids truly make me realize the most important things in life. They help me to see how some things have so much potential if you just give them a little love. And to this little boy...his toy works just as good as one that would have cost $$$. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have a relationship with every single one of our kids in the Dominican Republic and to see God’s unique plan unfold for them! Because of our sponsors, lives are being changed every single day! Would you like to partner with us? We would be so blessed to have you! Visit the donate page for more info! ❤️ #missionaryatheart
