Caring for over 300 kids that live in extreme poverty and many that are homeless can be difficult at times. Although the positives will always outweigh the bad, we are constantly dealing with bad behavior, fights, and difficult attitudes. However research shows that living in poverty can in fact lead to severe trauma for kids. So when bad behavior and difficulty is placed in our path with our kids, we simply love them a little harder and open our arms a little wider for them. Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to be a positive influence to our kids in the Dominican and for helping us show them your unfailing love! #missionaryatheart
