Saturday!
What an amazing Saturday in the Dominican! Spent lots of time in different villages we take care of giving out food to families, loving on kids, and seeing so many families houses. It’s amazing how proud they are of a few rusty pieces of tin that is covered in holes and a dirt floor. Humbling! Also introduced everyone on the trip to our sweet friend Daviel who is 22 years old and was born with heartbreaking medical complications. He is so precious and we love him so much! Makes you really think about the amazing medical care we have in the US compared to in a third world country. Ended the day hiking through the rainforest to take some more sweet families food. First day!
Such a great first day on our trip to the Dominican!!! Love getting to see all of our kids and show friends a taste of what #missionaryatheart does! Today we visited lots of families and delivered food in the villages we take care of, delivered a bed and stove to a very poor single mom that lives in a shack with a leaky roof and no bathroom, had a fiesta and basketball 🏀 tournament with our street kids, and loved on so many kids! Going to sleep tired, happy, and so very thankful to be in my favorite place tonight ❤️🇩🇴🧒🏽👦🏾👶🏾👧🏽🇩🇴❤️
Heading Out!!!
Heading out bright and early in the morning to our favorite town in the Dominican Republic!! It is a much needed trip and I cannot wait to hug all of my babies! It has been too long! Prayers for safe travels and for the best trip ever! God has big things in store! ❤️👶🏾👧🏽👦🏾❤️
