Humbled and thankfuL

Happy Friday from #missionaryatheart! Today I am so very humbled as I think back on all God has done through #missionaryatheart in just a few short years. When we first started this ministry, I had no idea it would grow like it has! But doors continue to open and I am forever grateful! We consistently have over 100 kids that come to our mission house each week as part of our street kids feeding program for a hot meal, clean water, fresh clothes, a shower, basic hygiene needs, bible study, and to play in a safe environment. We have built houses for families, helped kids and adults obtain proper medical care, provided financial assistance for back to school, funerals, operations, tragedies, and many other situations. We have even been able to provide a few local Dominican individuals with long term employment at our mission house and in turn they have been able to provide a future for their families. I could go on and on! Overall what I am most thankful for is that we have been able to pour into so many desperate kids and adults who have never even felt the slightest taste of love before. Kids and adults that felt they had been forgotten and were unworthy. We have been able to welcome them with open arms and open hearts and pour our love into them and teach them about God’s unending love for them. The journey of mission work is so so hard at times. It’s so difficult to fundraise and make ends meet, and the need grows bigger and bigger ever single day due to the intense level of poverty these families face, yet God continues to provide and I know He will always make a way!

If you’ve ever supported #missionaryatheart, thank you! From the bottom of my heart, we truly cannot do what we do without people just like you! We are so very grateful for every single person who loves, prays for, and supports #missionaryatheart!
